Everything your next fishing trip needs.
Find hidden spots, connect with local anglers, earn achievements and fish with confidence.

Know before you go.
Checking the map, the weather and your gear used to mean three different apps before you'd even left the house. Go Fish puts all of it in one place, so planning a trip takes minutes, not a scavenger hunt.

Design in progress

Wanting to fish more isn't the hard part.
We asked anglers what actually stops them. Almost none of it was about finding fish.
Getting out is work
Gear to check, kit to find, somewhere to go, a plan to actually make. Any one of those is reason enough to stay on the sofa.
Fishing with others is harder than it should be
A lot of the anglers fish alone and would rather not. Coordinating a trip means group chats and half-remembered messages, and it's genuinely hard to tell who's actually free. Plenty of people fish alone by choice - that's a perfectly good way to fish. It just shouldn't be the only option.
Nothing brings you back
Between trips, there's nothing. No sense of progress, nothing happening with your crew, no nudge to get back out there. Even the anglers who fish every week told us motivation is real work.
And you still want to fish well
Spots, conditions, a decent tip now and then - every app out there does a version of this. It matters. It's just not all of it.

Go Fish covers
the whole trip.
Before, during and after - not just the hours on the water. Every other app owns a slice, usually the map. We wanted the whole sequence, because that's what actually gets you out fishing more.

Design in progress
Before. During. After.
Plan it. Fish it. Go again. The three parts of a trip that every other app treats separately - and we don't.
01 · BEFORE
The trip starts days
before the water.
Trip planner
Pick the water, set the day, and watch the conditions take shape as you get closer.
Packing lists
Built from the trip, ticked off as you load the car. Nothing forgotten at 4am.
Your gear, in one place
Every rod, reel and lure you own, with how many catches each one has actually produced.
A wishlist for what is next
Keep track of what you want next, and why.
Bring someone, if you want to
Invite your crew and plan as a group instead of across four separate chats. Or keep the trip to yourself. Both are fishing.

02 · DURING
Everything you need to know,
before you need it.
Tips from people who've actually fished it
Bait, technique, timing - shared by anglers who were there recently, not a forum post from 2019.
Spots and conditions
Filter by species, season, water type and distance, with the wind, temperature and pressure for wherever you're headed.
What is biting nearby
Recent catches from anglers on the same water, this week rather than last season.
Tips from people who've actually fished it
Bait, technique, timing — shared by anglers who were there recently, not a forum post from 2019.
AI-assisted catch logging
Photograph the fish and the app suggests the species. Confirm it, and get back to fishing.
Facilities on the map
Parking, boat launches, jetties, cleaning stations, fire pits - the practical things you need to know.

03 · AFTER
The part that decides whether there's a next trip.
Your season, recorded
Every trip and catch, with the conditions attached. Patterns you'd never spot from memory.
Challenges you don't have to be there for
Set a target for the week or the whole season and settle it from the log. You can compete with someone without ever sharing a boat.
Your crew, when you want them
Family and friends in one place, or nobody at all.
Something to show for a blank day
Log a trip that produced nothing and the app will help you next time. That's still worth knowing.
Invite a friend, both get premium
Invite a friend and earn free premium and other benefits.

The whole flow lives in one app. Tap a step to see what it looks like.
1
Find a water that's actually fishing
Filter by species, distance and water type. Recent catches tell you which spots are producing now, not which ones were good last summer.

Fish alone. Or don't
Some of the best hours on the water are the quiet ones with nobody else there. Some of the best are the opposite. Go Fish works for both - add the people you fish with when you want them, and keep the app to yourself when you don't.
Your spots stay yours
When we asked anglers what worried them, several people raised the same issue: public catches from a small water and you can ruin it. A good pond that gets popular stops being a good pond.

Area, not pin
Shared catches can show the area, not the exact spot. You choose.
Private
Every catch can be private. Sensitive waters are not specific even when you share.
Your saved spots are never shared
They are personal and we get that, other users will not see it.
We take a side on this
Go Fish exists to get you fishing more, on your terms.

This is the starting line.
Launch covers the whole trip. Here's what comes after.
DAY STREAK
18
Every day you log a trip, check conditions, or mark a catch keeps your streak alive. It's a simple way to see how consistent you've been on the water - no pressure, just a quiet reminder that you keep showing up.

Made by people who fish.
Daniel grew up fishing the Norwegian fjords - his parents took him fishing, and their parents took them, long before he could cast properly himself. He's not a developer. He's the person who, one ordinary evening, found himself struggling to fish more often and started working on a solution to it. That evening is basically why Go Fish exists.
